No stranger to festive celebrations, Gran Melia Jakarta welcomes this year’s Lunar New Year with specially curated menu as well as attractions for guests. Dining offerings will be available on 21 January for dinner, and 22 January for the festive brunch.
Its Chinese restaurant, Tien Chao, has prepared a hearty set menu, aptly named the Prosperity Set Menu, where diners will indulge the meal with a selection of seven different dishes. The celebratory feast begins with the ceremonial Yee Sang toss with a generous serving of fresh salmon, followed by oriental classics such as Braised Sea Treasure, Birds Nest thick soup, or pan fried beef steak with Cantonese sauce among others.
Meanwhile, the hotel’s all-day dining, Café Gran Via invites guests to enjoy the special New Year’s buffet spread with a remarkable selection of regional Chinese specialties. To enliven the prosperous atmosphere, a staple of every Lunar New Year celebration, a parading lion dance will pass through the hotel’s communal areas on both dates to entertain and share the excitement.
