Mason Elephant Park & Lodge

To say that Mason Elephant Park & Lodge is a family hotel would be an understatement, as in reality, it’s a one-stop destination filled with fun and educational activities and unique accommodation unlike anywhere else in the world, and can be enjoyed by all ages.

As the name suggests, the resort is built around an elephant park. But it’s not a regular elephant park, as Mason Elephant Park & Lodge is the only dedicated elephant rescue park in Bali, caring for 31 elephants, most of whom were originally saved from camps in Sumatra. Four baby elephants have been born in the park and added to the herd, a pleasant addition to the family.

One doesn’t simply pay a quick visit to the park and leave. There are many things to see and activities to do, which anyone visiting should make a day of at least. That’s where the lodge comes in. The boutique hotel comprises 27 eclectic types of accommodation, each with a distinctive elephant touch to cater to your preferred taste. The Mason Elephant Lodge might be the only one in the world where guests can hop onto an elephant from the front door and head off into the jungle – a sure favourite for adults and kids alike.

Guests can watch and interact with the elephants, getting to know more about these majestic creatures – a priceless memory to bring home. The park also has a museum and education centre, where a complete mammoth skeleton replica takes centre stage – evoking oohs and ahs from guests.
