Fredrik HarforsPark Hyatt Jakarta, slated to open in the second half of 2018, recently announced the appointment of Fredrik Harfors as the general manager of the hotel, which will be the first Park Hyatt branded hotel in Indonesia. Park Hyatt Jakarta will occupy the top 17 floors of MNC Media Tower and feature 221 lavish guest rooms.
Harfors is no stranger to Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, having more than 16 years’ experience with the group. He previously tackled positions at Park Hyatt hotels in Saigon and Sydney, had a four-year tenure at Grand Hyatt Jakarta and most recently, he served as Park Hyatt Bangkok’s hotel manager.
“I’m thrilled to be returning to Indonesia, and excited to be part of the opening team for the first Park Hyatt hotel in the country,” explained Harfors. “I’m particularly looking forward to introducing local and international guests to the brand’s home away from home concept, which will bring together our personalised luxury philosophy with genuine Indonesian hospitality to Jakarta in the coming year.”
