Q: Congratulations on being named an Asia Influencer at the 2023 Asia Model Festival! How did it feel to be recognised for your influence in the industry?
A: Being recognised as an Asia Influencer is both humbling and empowering. All the hard work, passion and consistency have truly paid off. However, it serves as a significant motivation for me to continue inspiring and connecting with people through my work.

Q: How do you balance your career and life as a mother?
A: Balancing both aspects is challenging but incredibly rewarding. It comes down to prioritisation and setting boundaries. I’m still adjusting to juggling my time between my baby Zoe, my dog Zozo, my family, work and friends. I feel blessed and grateful to have helpers and my team to assist me in managing both personal & professional tasks efficiently. It’s a lot to handle, but I’m getting there!

Q: You’ve built a strong presence across multiple platforms. What is the key to maintaining relevance and staying connected with your audience?
A: For me, authenticity is fundamental. I focus on being real and sharing both the highs and lows, which helps my audience feel connected and understood. Of course, I polish my content a bit for client requests, but staying on top of trends and continuously improving my content while sticking to my core values has been key to maintaining that connection.

Q: Social media can often be a double-edged sword. How do you handle negativity while maintaining your authenticity?
A: My dad taught me early on not to take criticism too personally, as not everyone will like you. I focus on constructive feedback and surround myself with positivity. If the criticism is valid, I reflect on it. Critics can be just as vital as supporters when it comes to growth. I stay grounded by remembering that I can’t please everyone, but can always stay true to myself.

Q: What’s advice you would give to someone looking to enter the industry?
A: Be patient and stay consistent. Success doesn’t happen overnight. Build your unique brand by staying authentic and finding your niche. Networking and building relationships within the industry can open many opportunities. For aspiring influencers, start by sharing your genuine thoughts and providing honest reviews about what you wear, eat or use. And don’t forget to tag the brands, even if they’re not paying you!

Q: What’s next for you? Are there any projects you’re looking forward to?
A: I’m excited for my first movie, Al Thazan, which will be released this year! I am also looking forward to more collaborations with global and local brands, as well as a fun project with baby Zoe! On the charity front, I’ve been quietly supporting education and health initiatives for the past eight years. The funds come from my online garage sale, @patgosale, and even 100 percent of my wedding gifts went to charity. Since December 2024, I’ve also been raising donations to support communities in NTT, ensuring the funds are used responsibly.
