Born into family of textile manufacturers for numerous international fashion labels, sisters Ratna and Surya Kuhn have spent their whole lives surrounded by fabrics, patterns and sewing machines. So it was only natural the two sisters decided to start Paulina Katarina as they wanted to create a fashion line that is fun, flattering and compliments a woman’s body.
Throughout the years, they have launched several collections under the Paulina Katarina line, along with the Archipelago line that promotes Indonesian textile prints in modern day fashion. Their latest addition is the launch of Wanderlust, their premium resort line. Wanderlust’s first collection, Amalfi Dreams, was showcased at Jakarta Fashion Week 2017 as they are part of the prestigious Indonesian Fashion Forward fifth generation.
The sisters have had noteworthy highlights in their career as they were selected as finalists for the Most Innovative Fashion Brands at the Cleo Fashion Awards in 2015 and awarded ROLE MODEL Business Woman of the Year 2014 by Bali Wise-ROLE Foundation. Ratna and Surya recently opened Paulina Katarina’s first and second store in the heart of Seminyak and Ubud, Bali.
