A stylish hub in the centre of Seminyak, the newly minted Potato Head Studios is set to open this month with attractive stay packages for Indonesian residents.
Desa Potato Head is finally ready to introduce Potato Head Studios. Designed in partnership with David Gianotten of OMA, the new environmentally friendly hotel is set to open on 15 July. To celebrate this opening, the hotel is offering a long-term stay with Escape the City packages for Indonesian residents to fully maximise the experience of working and living in paradise.
With prices starting at IDR 20 million a week, guests are able to enjoy a seven-night stay at Potato Head Studios with daily breakfast. Further, the hotel is also offering return airport transfers in guests’ local hometown and Bali, return flights, complimentary PCR tests, welcome jamu, priority daybed at Beach Club, signature cocktail upon arrival, zero-waste kit, free access to Sustainism Lab and Sustainism Kids, private working space and daily morning yoga flow.
More than a place to stay, Potato Head Studios is a creative centre with spaces dedicated to sustainability, cultural immersion and the arts. Every experience at Potato Head Studios has been carefully crafted by the community, for the community. Among these are sustainability workshops for adults and children at Sustainism Lab; Potato Head’s own streaming station, Headstream, which is set to broadcast talks and music programs from local artists and rising stars 12 hours a day; and Studio Eksotika – a curated library, listening lounge and co-working centre on the mezzanine floor. The entire building is fitted out with local, sustainable materials, as well as art pieces, ceramics, textiles and basketry from small-scale makers on the island. They wrap around a vast creative courtyard that leads to an amphitheatre for modern and traditional arts, a palm-lined swimming pool and, eventually, the sand, surf and sensational sunsets of Petitenget Beach.
