Pullman Bali Legian Beach proudly announces its renewed Green Globe Certification for 2024–2025, further solidifying its position as a leader in sustainable hospitality. This prestigious recognition highlights the resort’s unwavering dedication to excellence, having achieved 100% compliance with all mandatory criteria. By embracing the four pillars of Green Globe—sustainability, social and economic contribution, cultural heritage and environmental stewardship—the resort continues to set the standard for a harmonious balance between hospitality and responsibility.
To celebrate Bali’s cultural heritage, nestled within the resort’s lush gardens is a traditional Balinese Hindu temple, a sacred space where the local community gathers for daily worship. This meaningful connection strengthens the resort’s ties to its surrounding community while offering guests a glimpse into the island’s spiritual traditions. Guests can also explore the resort’s sanctuary and learn about sustainable honey production in the resort gardens.
Furthermore, Pullman Bali Legian Beach also supports Balinese children by providing essential education, skill development and updated resources, including computers and furniture. The curriculum covers mathematics, English and practical life skills such as cooking and hygiene, equipping students with the tools for a brighter future. In addition, the resort organises virtual lessons and in-person visits to enhance the educational experience for these young learners.
Pullman Bali Legian Beach’s sustainability efforts extend to environmental practices. The resort has installed 20 biopores and five infiltration wells across the property, innovative solutions that prevent soil erosion, distribute rainwater evenly and replenish groundwater reserves. These measures not only promote soil health and support plant growth but also contribute to climate change by promoting sustainable water management.
Reducing waste is another key priority. The resort utilises cutting-edge tools, including the Winnow food waste management system, which meticulously tracks and manages food disposal, minimising waste while enhancing kitchen operations efficiency. Across the resort, native plants flourish, each marked with informative tags to educate guests on their ecological roles. Regular beach clean-ups further reinforce Pullman Bali Legian Beach’s commitment to preserving Bali’s pristine coastline.
In alignment with Accor’s global values, the resort promotes inclusivity by employing individuals with disabilities. This initiative reflects Accor’s long-standing commitment to equal opportunities, dating back to its signing of the International Labour Organization’s Global Business and Disability Charter in 2015. At Pullman Bali Legian Beach, inclusivity is more than a policy—it is an integral part of the resort’s ethos, ensuring a welcoming and diverse workplace for all.
As a beacon of eco-conscious travel, Pullman Bali Legian Beach is redefining sustainable luxury. By harmonising cultural preservation, environmental stewardship and social responsibility, the resort ensures its legacy endures for generations to come.
