With the recent opening of Six Senses Duxton and the imminent opening of Six Senses Maxwell, Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas is nearing the end of its remarkable Chinatown restoration and conservation project.
The two Six Senses Singapore buildings mark the brand’s first city hotels and represent a celebration of local culture and history while adding a touch of playfulness. With sultry accommodation like the Opium Room and a range of dining options, the buildings feature a diverse mix of Chinese, Malay and European elements including neo-classical lion head motifs, Chinese porcelain-chip friezes along with Malay timber fretwork, French windows, Portuguese shutters and Corinthian pilasters.
