Back in March, Banyan Tree Holdings Limited and Myanmar Treasure Hotel & Resort Group Company Limited (better known as Htoo Hospitality) announced the signing of a joint venture agreement for hotel management in Myanmar. In anticipation of a tourism boom in the country, the joint venture will elevate local hospitality services to a whole new level for travellers.
Launched in 2002, Htoo Hospitality was built upon authentic Burmese cultural traditions, and is the largest hospitality operator in Myanmar. With 17 hotels located across eight states and 11 destinations in Myanmar, Banyan Tree Holdings and Htoo Hospitality’s joint venture will become the top hotel management company in the country.
In addition, Banyan Tree Holdings will also help operate the Htoo Hospitality-owned Hotel & Tourism Training Centre in Yangon to provide more opportunities for locals to take the next step towards a professional career in the hospitality industry.
