The expansive Bandung destination has prepared many merry activities and programmes for the holiday.
The Gaia Hotel Bandung has chosen the theme Heaven and Earth Sing for this year’s Christmas celebration, incorporating music to the joyous season. After the festive tree lighting ceremony on 3 December, featuring LKSA William Booth Choir, the Resident Choir and a string quartet, the festivity continued throughout December.
For a month long, every Friday and Saturday, guests can meet Santa Claus walking around the lobby, bringing gifts for children. On 23 December, a special mini concert titled Christmas Songs and Stories will entertain guests with performances from VG Benedictus Reformed Indonesia Theologial College, Santa Angela Choir and the Resident Choir.
Come on 24 and 25 December to commemorate Christmas with bountiful dining selection. Guests can choose from the six-course Christmas Nikkei set menu by Chef Juan Jara, or a buffet option at Gaia Asian Semeja Kitchen featuring favourite Bandung dishes and more delicacies. The Christmas Nikkei dinner features highlights such as yellowfin tuna tartar, foie gras nigiri, turkey roulade, Australian grass-fed beef strip steak, yuzu bomb and more.
Ring in the New Year with the Let Us Be Glad celebrations at The Gaia Hotel Bandung. On 31 December 2022, Gaia Semeja Asian Kitchen offers a buffet spread inspired by izakaya, Bandung snacks and Jimbaran seafood. On the same evening, Monomono Bar & Social Dining is back with a six-course set menu by Chef Juan Jara, and a special New Year’s Eve event will feature performances from Bern Music and Harra Music.
The main countdown will take place at the hotel’s Edelweiss Ballroom, presenting various games and activities for children, performances by The Lofty, The Master Joe Sandy, and the famed Marcell Siahaan, as well as a spectacular firework display and fantastic door prizes.
