This Lunar New Year, The Hermitage Jakarta goes hand-in-hand with up and coming local clothing label, Sissae, in creating its exclusive lunar hampers. The brand welcomes the new year with a collection launch of their own, The Tales of Nu Wa, and applies the design theme into the elegant packaging, immediately visible when opening the beautiful hamper packaging.
Among the delicacies available within the hamper are Lunar New Year staples such as Nian Gao, pineapple tart, and thousand layer cake – all by Lee Anne Bakes – as well as a home embroidery kit by Sissae.
The Hermitage Jakarta will also host a series of Lunar New Year celebrations for guests. Starting from the New Year’s Eve dinner at the Ballroom, with a set menu of Yong Chow fried rice, steamed grouper, Mongolian beef, chicken a la Haka and prawn XO sauce. For New Year’s Day, 1928 restaurant will be having enticing buffet spreads at brunch and dinner hours.
