The historical hotel collaborates with renowned batik designer Amanda Hartanto to create unique mooncake hampers.
The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta in collaboration with famed batik designer Amanda Hartanto has crafted special mooncake hampers to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. Available from 5 August to 15 September 2022, the mooncake hampers come in two categories: regular and premium at IDR488,000++ and IDR988,000++ respectively.
The regular hamper comprises two mooncakes with pandan with salted yolk and lotus flavours. While the premium package comes in four mooncakes with the flavours of black bean tausa with salted egg yolk, pandan with salted egg yolk, durian and lotus. Each mooncake is meticulously crafted by hand, and comes in an enchanting package designed by Amanda.
Amanda established her label, Amanda Hartanto Batik, in 2011, and is known for blending modern influences with traditional batik patterns. For the mooncake hampers, she draws inspirations from signature patterns of Batik Keraton and Batik Pesisir, blends the kawung and buetan patterns with the hotel’s signature modern-classic design, and tops it off with a dash of oriental touch.
