Shiraiwa K.K. is pleased to announce the launch of IWA, an epoch-making sake that opens up a new chapter in the thousand-year history of sake. A creation of Richard Geoffroy, who charted a course for the legendary Dom Pérignon Champagne for 28 years as the fifth chef de cave, IWA 5’s Assemblage adds a new layer to the long-established process of rice polishing. Shiraiwa proudly released IWA 5 Assemblage 1 in Indonesia on 1 November 2021 through an intimate media dinner and gathering, reflecting the spirit of continual experiment, of steadily and creatively pushing the envelope. IWA 5 is imported and distributed exclusively by PT Pantja Artha Niaga and will be available exclusively through the online shop at www.minuman.com and at selected top restaurants in Indonesia.
