Fine watch collectors, aficionados and VIP guests, including Montblanc Southeast Asia representatives, gathered to attend the Montblanc 1858 Reconnect launch at Montblanc Plaza Senayan in September. The 1858 timepieces pay homage to the spectacular heritage of the 160-year-old Minerva movements within the brand’s collection. The collection also sees a revival of 1920s and 1930s mountaineering and exploration pocket watches and chronographs, with a contemporary-vintage twist for the 21st century. Fuelled by bespoke cocktails, guests discovered the new collection and were inspired by renowned actor Nicholas Saputra, who shared his experiences of exploring and capturing the beauty of nature.
