The Ungasan Clifftop Resort is a fabulous destination for large families, travelling with children or without, extended global families and groups of friends. With five of the seven villas able to accommodate up to 15 people, your only issue is choosing which one you like the best.
These luxury villas were architecturally designed to reflect the individual tastes and demands of the people who had them built as their own homes to pamper their own families, making them so much more than just a place to sleep. Thoughtful touches abound, from the gentle breeze of the air flow that keeps you cool, to the relaxation pavilions in the gardens, perfect for a private massage, spending quiet time reading or to sit and chat with family.
Each villa occupies a 2,500sq.m. plot of land and has incredible vistas across the ocean from its 30m frontage atop the limestone cliff, as well as lushly manicured tropical gardens that abound with scented frangipani and colourful bougainvillea. With delightful interior design as well, there is a feast for your eyes everywhere you turn.
All of these luxury villas have different configurations of living and sleeping space within them – some have five individual one-bedroom villa suites, each with its own deck, within their grounds, while others have either twin one-bedroom suites connected by adjoining decks, or pairs of interconnecting suites and a separate master suite. Whether you have toddlers, teens or an adult family coming together from across the globe for a holiday reunion, at least one of these expansive nirvanas will suit your needs.
The Ungasan Clifftop Resort has more than beautiful, spacious grounds and decadent living spaces to offer. There is plenty of room for everyone in each villa complex to find their own space and all of the villas have at least one pool perfect for splashing around or gazing out at the breathtaking views, large lounge and dining areas, entertainment areas, home theatres and kitchens, as well as 24-hour room service and in-villa Wi-Fi.
A personal butler service is available throughout the day, nannies are available for four hours a day and each villa has a personal chef available eight hours a day to reign over your kitchen, so top-notch eating for everyone from babies to grandparents is easily accommodated while you make the most of family time. The kitchens at The Ungasan are co-headed by Chef Ryan Kovac, from the renowned Biota restaurant in Australia, and the resort’s own Chef Marthada, who together lead the team that turns out masterpieces that draw extensively on the riches of Bali’s own excellent produce and can cater to any needs. This exciting collaboration is also behind the fabulous new in-villa menus and their luscious, creative dishes.
Within the resort grounds, there are tennis courts, a gym, a spa offering treatment rooms and spa services in your villa, a communal pool and dining area on the Selatan lawn, and if all this dedicated, personal service still leaves you wanting more, guests have access to a car and driver for eight hours a day so they can explore beyond the resort.
All guests of The Ungasan also have VIP access to the renowned Sundays Beach Club, which is just at the bottom of the cliff – a short trip down some stairs and an inclinator – which is the perfect location for water sports, sunset bonfires and lazing on the soft white sands.
