The annual festival has come a long way from its humble beginnings in 2002 to one of the most awaited literary and artistic events, bringing people from all walks of life to Ubud – Bali’s own creative hub. For five days from 25th to 29th October, the tranquil neighbourhood of Bali will see artists, authors, thinkers and performers, coming together to share meaningful exchanges and cross-cultural dialogue. Among the confirmed speakers this year are Erick Est of the documentary “Janggan: Harvesting the Wind” fame, respected senior journalist Leila S.
