The legendary Belmond train will make a journey to Florence, Paris, Venice and Vienna in December.
The iconic train Venice Simplon-Orient-Express announces December journeys throughout Europe’s most scenic winterscapes for the first time ever. The train that made its inaugural journey in 1982 will take travellers to unveil atmospheric festive markets and joyous holiday traditions in Florence, Paris, Venice and Vienna aboard its historic carriages.
Enjoy the warmth of the private cabin with a glass of Champagne while taking in the frosted forests and countryside outside through the glass. The jewel-coloured dining cars is where Chef Jean Imbert will serve winter-inspired seasonal menus. Meanwhile the Bar Car 3674 is where you can grab a nightcap, mingle and enjoy the music played by the pianist.
The winter journeys will travel from Venice to Paris on 2 and 12 December 2022, and from Paris to Venice on 20 December. The train will stop in Florence on 7 December (Venice to Paris) and 8 December (Paris to Venice). The train will depart from Paris to Vienna on 17 December, and will make the return journey (Vienna to Paris) on 18 December.
