The InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah successfully presented an elegant, luxurious and classy wedding inspiration event with its first wedding exhibition, The Wedding Fair, from 10th to 12 May.
Held in collaboration with Multi Creative Enterprise, one of the leading wedding organisers in Indonesia, the event took place in the magnificent Grand Ballroom, which is able to accommodate 3,500 guests, making it an ideal wedding venue for prospective brides and grooms. On the same floor is the Outdoor Terrace, which can be transformed into a banquet or event venue for any celebration.
A total of 50 partners and vendors participated in the exhibition offering services such as invitation printing, decorations, lighting, wedding cakes, wedding photography and wedding dresses. Vendors included the likes of Ebimoekti Decoration, Kampung Decor House, Jacky Soeharto Wedding, Le Novelle Cake and Etcetera Lighting. The exhibition also showcased a number of wedding planners ready to help couples anticipate various unexpected scenarios.
Two Indonesian fashion designers were highlighted; RedBerry Wedding presented traditional wedding dresses from around Indonesia, including Palembang, Aceh, Madura, Betawi, Mandailing, Bali and Koto Gadang, with a modern touch dominated by gold. Meanwhile, celebrity fashion designer, Cynthia Tan, wowed visitors with her beautiful and dreamy ball gowns and classic white dresses.
Future brides and grooms who confirmed their weddings at the exhibition had the chance to receive cashback of up to IDR 50 million, honeymoon packages at InterContinental hotels in Southeast Asia and other luxurious door prizes. Well, we definitely heard wedding bells!
