DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Diponegoro recently welcomed seasoned hotelier Nils Arne Schroeder as its new general manager. With over 20 years of hospitality experience, Nils is also serving as the new regional general manager for Indonesia of Hilton Worldwide, affirming the brand’s commitment to a positive impact on travel and tourism in Indonesia. In his regional role, Nils is based in Jakarta and will oversee the operations within the current portfolio of trading hotels within Indonesia in destinations including Bali and Bandung. He will support the preopening of the pipeline properties, and is responsible for the strategies in Indonesia. He will also play a vital role in employee training and development, while driving performance across various aspects including financial success, brand value, guest satisfaction and engagement as well as service quality.
