Lighting its Christmas tree earlier this month, the hotel launches “Christmas Village Market” and an abundance of offerings.
Guests of Gran Melia Jakarta will feel the season upon arrival, as its legendary lobby was transformed into a mesmerizing “Christmas Village Market” – a decoration filled with scintillating lights, gold seasonal decorations, and a life-sized gingerbread house.
The gingerbread house also showcases and sells handcrafted and Christmas decorations made by the children of Yayasan Pondok Taruna orphanage, in which 100% of sales and profits from the purchase will be donated to the foundation.
As for in-house festivities, the iconic Café Gran Via welcomes Christmas by offering a gastronomic experience with Christmas Eve Dinner and Christmas Day Brunch. While at New Year’s Eve celebration, Gran Melia will host Latin Fiesta, an unforgettable experience collaborating the very best of salsa, Latin music, and DJ performance. Surely, the fiesta will not be complete without a tantalizing buffet dinner at Café Gran Via and Lobby Lounge.
